Using the GIMP Text Tool 1. text tool - click this to select the text tool. then click on your canvas to type. 2. fonts - click this button to select the font you want to use. 3. font size - change the size of the font. 4. antialiasing - this is what makes text smooth. uncheck the box for pixelated text. 5. font color - this changes the color of the font. |

How do I move my text? To move your text, click on the move tool. Click move the active layer (circled in red to the left) Click on your text layer (layers window). Now click on your text and drag it. |
